A Little Introduction

Hi! I’m Emily – I'm behind everything to do with CreatureClaws. I’m a fully qualified nail technician and artist, working from my cozy home studio, which I share with my fiancé and our rescue cat, Ms. Penelope Peaches (the inspiration behind the logo!).

So, how did CreatureClaws come to be?

A few years ago, I developed a severe allergy to nail products caused by overexposure to gel polish and acrylics. Overnight, getting my nails done became impossible.

As someone with a background in art, a love for unique nail designs, a job that didn’t allow anything on the natural nail, plus some sensory sensitivities — I found myself at loss. That’s when I discovered the world of press-on nails, and everything changed.

Why press-ons?

Having worked in the SEN (Special Educational Needs) field and being surrounded by some lovely neurodivergent friends, I quickly became aware of how traditional beauty treatments can be uncomfortable or inaccessible for many.

My goal is to grow this little business, bring joy through accessible nail art, and give Ms. Peaches the pampered life she deserves.
